66 Graduates Benefit From FG’s Job Placement In Ondo

No fewer than 66 graduates in Ondo have benefitted from the Federal Government Graduate Attachment Program under the National Directorate of Employment(NDE).

The graduates, recruited for temporary jobs, are to be paid N15,000 monthly as stipend during the duration of the programme.

Ondo Coordinator of the NDE, Dare Awokoya, said the internship programme was aimed at addressing high rate in unemployment through the provision if transient jobs to the youths.

Awokoya, who spoke while delivering posting letters to the beneficiaries, said they would be posted to corporate organisations in the state and are expected to serve for an initial period of three months.

He expressed optimism the beneficiaries could secure permanent jobs at their places of primary assignment or could become self employed.
